MVMA Practice Innovation & Excellence Program

The Practice Innovation & Excellence Program began in 2020 and provided funding for 46 programs with a total spend of $960,000. To date, 67 programs have been funded for a total of $3,975,000!

The intent of this successful initiative is to recognize practices that have gone “above and beyond” in identifying an area within the practice needing improvement in a more focused way, establishing a baseline and plan to address this need, and once implemented, being able to demonstrate results.

Funded programs range from brand new initiatives in need of seed money to get started, to established mature programs that have been successful in providing much-needed patient-centric services and management of specific conditions.

We are continuing to accept applications through October 31st. We encourage you to contact us to discuss any ideas you may have for an innovation program, and we will assist you with initiating the application process.
Introducing "MVP Insights"
MVP has produced several standard reports over the past several years for MVMA primary care groups, called the Standard Reporting Package, or "SRP". Of the many reports, practices found the Gaps in Care Reports most useful.
The SRP has now been replaced by "MVP Insights", a reporting tool based on the Arcadia data platform. Training is available for your office staff to access your gap reports, and we'd be glad to facilitate scheduling for you.
We are sensitive to the multiple priorities physician offices juggle every day. As an alternative approach, MVMA can provide you with securely emailed monthly reports in an Excel format that can easily be sorted to best meet your needs. For instance, if you are focusing on improving gap closures for the multiple diabetic measures, you can sort your report on those specific measures to identify the patients readily. If you would like to see which of your MVP patients have multiple gaps to close, the report can be sorted by the number of gaps in descending order.
