Announcing The MVMA Foundation

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the formation of The MVMA Foundation to benefit charitable organizations that engage in the promotion of health either by delivering health care services or by providing public education within the 9-county MVMA geographic community. The Foundation has been formed as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) private foundation. The Board has authorized an initial contribution of $100,000. A five-person Board of Trustees will oversee the Foundation’s activities and is composed of three IPA Directors and two laypersons who also sit on MVP’s Board of Directors. We are very pleased to have this opportunity to give back to our communities by sponsoring the Foundation.

The Foundation will make contributions to tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations that are not private foundations. We refer you to our website to find the required application form. Completed applications will be reviewed on a quarterly basis by the Board of Trustees and decisions will be based on the merits of the projects submitted.
